Fullscreen screen tool FAQ

Answers about using online white screens, black screens, solid colors, display checks, and screensaver patterns.

What are white and black screens used for?

Pure white and black fields can help reveal bright or dark pixels, light bleed, and surface dust. They can also serve as cleaning backdrops, presentation backgrounds, or simple fullscreen color fields.

How do I exit browser fullscreen?

Press Esc to exit fullscreen in most desktop browsers. On mobile devices, the gesture can vary by system and browser; you can also use the browser exit control.

Do solid color screens require an image upload?

No. Solid color displays and screen patterns do not rely on images or files uploaded by you. Your browser may show its own permission prompt when entering fullscreen.

Can online screen colors detect every dead pixel?

Different colors can help reveal some visible bright or dark pixels, but cannot guarantee that every issue will be found. Results depend on panel type, brightness, viewing angle, and ambient light.

Can a screen check tool replace professional calibration?

No. Solid color fields in a web page are for basic visual inspection. They do not measure exact color, brightness, or gamut and cannot replace calibration equipment.

Do screensaver patterns prevent display aging?

There is no such guarantee. Browser screensaver patterns are mainly visual displays and cannot promise to prevent image retention or hardware aging. Follow your device manufacturer care guidance for long-term use.

Can I use Fullscreen.cc on a phone?

The pages can be opened in phone and tablet browsers. Fullscreen behavior and available display area depend on the device operating system and browser.
